On
a
recent trip to my homeland of Australia, I ended up in hospital with an
acute attack of Pancreatitis - caused by a wayward gallstone deciding
to take a painful exit from my body. The resultant weight
loss is
not something that I could market as a preferred weight control method!!
During
my 12 day
stint in hospital, I had time to reflect on those things that I
consider as valuable & it basically boiled down to 4
loves.
#1. My Love for God;
#2.
My Love for my wife & family;
#3.
My love for what God is doing in His church worldwide;
#4.
My love
for what God is doing in the church of Victoria & specifically
what
He's doing here in our little community of Esquimalt.
This
last year
we have seen an incredible stirring in the church in our local
area. To start with, God has knit many of our hearts
relationally
& out of that we have seen the church begin to rise up to
become
who He intended it to be. At the same time, we are all
experiencing a form of transition that is forcing us to be more
dependant on God & each other.
At
YWAM
Victoria, we are committed to seeing His Kingdom advanced and we're
excited about how God is using us to build the bridges within the Body
of Christ to see that advancement take place.
His
Kingdom will have no end,
Graham
